Introduction

The Children’s Day Special Event, under the theme titled ‘Guard Their Smiles, Guide Their Clicks  - Cyber Safety for Our Kids’ was designed as a national awareness initiative focusing on the safety and well-being of young internet users. Held on 14 November 2025, the program highlighted the growing need for responsible digital engagement among children. Anchored in the theme Guard Their Smiles, Guide Their Clicks, the event promoted conversations on cyber safety, digital literacy, and the role of schools, families, and communities in building a secure online ecosystem.

Organised jointly by CIET NCERT and Cyber Peace Foundation, the session formed part of the official pre-summit event under the AI Impact Summit 2026, reinforcing the commitment to child-centric digital safety narratives.

Objectives

The event focused on four key objectives:

  1. Strengthen awareness of cyber safety among children, educators, and caregivers.

  3. Introduce initiatives such as eRaksha to empower children to express themselves safely in digital spaces.

  4. Encourage collaborative efforts between institutions, families, and technology stakeholders to ensure safer digital futures.
