To enhance education and digital literacy, the NaMo eLibrary & CyberPeace Community Center was inaugurated by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Wednesday. The initiative aims to empower students with access to books, computers, and modern technology, enabling academic growth and competitive exam preparations. The initiative is a collaborative effort with CyberPeace Community, a global non-profit organization dedicated to cybersecurity awareness and digital education.
The inauguration was attended by Union state minister for defense Sanjay Seth, MLAs CP Singh & Navin Jaiswal, and founder & global president of CyberPeace, Major Vineet. The organization will conduct specialised training programmes to educate children and communities about online safety, cyberthreats, and responsible digital behaviour.
On the occasion, the governor emphasised the crucial role of education in shaping the future of the country, stressing that initiatives like this would contribute significantly to the nation's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
The NaMo eLibrary is designed as a comprehensive knowledge hub, offering an extensive collection of physical books, digital resources, and access to global online learning platforms. The integration of technology ensures that students from all backgrounds, especially those in remote areas, can bridge the digital divide and compete on a national and global level.
Seth said, "The facility will serve as a hub for skill development workshops and career guidance sessions, helping young minds navigate the evolving job market. By offering training in emerging fields and practical career insights, the initiative ensures that students are not just educated but also job-ready and future-proof."
Major Vineet Kumar highlighted the importance of cybersecurity education in today's digital era, particularly in vulnerable regions like Jamtara, which is notorious for cyber fraud. Major Vineet said, "Aligned with the vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047, the initiative not only fosters academic excellence but also addresses pressing issues such as cybersecurity. By equipping children and women with essential digital safety knowledge, we are ensuring a more secure and informed society."
Additionally, the centre will organise regular workshops on cybersecurity awareness and digital safety, ensuring that the youth are well-equipped to navigate the digital world securely.
